During a press conference, President of Moldovan Parliament, Andrian Candu spoke of Chisinau Arena and how functional it will be, mentioning that our country's infrastructure has to be developed.

"An arena cannot be placed on 60 hectares. Depending on their infrastructure, between 10 and 15 hectares are foreseen for them. We speak of a bigger field that will be owned by the state, there is no place of embezzlement when it comes to state property. The destination was changed to an agriculture field that requires management. The terrain is bigger because the infrastructure need development. An arena must have food courts, place for children, parking lots, hotel and a press center. Along the arena, there are also some extras for children, such as an Aqua Park that will be opened during the whole year, Olympic-size swimming pool, training halls etc. Chisinau Arena must be multi-functional and used all year round" Andrian Candu declared.

The arena will allow for intentional competitions, concerts and events to be hosted in Moldova.

The modern complex will also offer a training hall meeting international standards and will create a space to evaluate the potential of young men, offering new opportunities and a chance for young people to build a career at home, in Moldova.
