Two men were sanctioned after they were caught illegally cutting down trees near the border.

On site, law enforcement discovered a vehicle, filled with wood, as well as the tools used to cut down the trees.

The suspects have not managed to explain their actions and lacked the necessary permit. According to them, the two live in Egoreni village and Soroca city, being aged 26 and 66 years old.

For their act, the two received fines of 8 and 6 conventional units, the found goods having been confiscated.
