An elderly from Bălţi was robbed in broad daylight. Three unknown individuals stole from the 68-year-old woman her bag, containing her wallet, phone and other items.

Immediately after the incident, police officers were dispatched on site, but the suspects managed to flee by the time.

Shortly after, law enforcement arrested some suspects, who proved to be three young men of 15, 17 and 25 years old, all from Bălți.

If found guilty, they risk a fine from 27 500 to 42 500 lei, or 5 to 7 years of imprisonment.
