Moldovans living abroad have sent home in February over 93 million USD, by 18% more than last year.

Most money came from the European Union, close to 39%. From Commonwealth of Independent States came 30%.

By countries, most money were sent from Russia, over 27 million USD. Followed by Israel, with close to 17 million USD. From Italy, people transferred over 12 million USD, while from USA were sent over 7.5 million USD, being followed by Germany with nearly 6 million USD.

According to BNM, in February nearly half of the money were transferred in USD. Followed by 45% in Euro and 6% in Ruble.
