National House of Social Insurance announced that the deadline for purchasing health insurances was extended to April 2, because the current one of March 31 falls on Saturday, therefore it was extended to Monday.

This year, compulsory health insurance remains at the price of 4 056 lei. Discounts being available to some category of citizens. Farm Owners, for example, will pay by 75% less, meaning 1 014 lei.

Business owners and unemployed citizens will have to spend 2 028 lei. 

Those who will not purchase a health insurance by April 2, will have to pay the full price of an insurance and a fine.
