Republic of Moldova has good trade policy, favoring economic growth. The conclusion belongs to a group of German experts from Get Moldova, who analyzed the amount of export our country has made last year.

According to them, in 2017, 70% of products were exported to EU. Most deliveries were of vegetable origin, by 59 million USD more than in 2016. Second place is held by car cables, where earnings increased by 85 million USD. 

The amount of export to EU increased after the signing and bringing into force the Free Trade Agreement. Exports to Turkey also increased, Moldova having delivered to that country 4% of its total products, by 1% more than previously. Exports to Russia decreased over 2017, reaching 10%.

German experts claim that decreased export to Russia was caused by Republic of Moldova becoming closer to EU. Economists from Get Moldova recommend our country to maintain foreign economic relations and continue establishing new partnerships.
