Fire Safety Inspections were performed at all socio-cultural Centers from Moldova by General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations. At the request of Prime Minister Pavel Filip, teams have also  controlled the roads allowing access to the buildings for firefighters and ambulances.

The controls were meant to reveal cases when IGSU employees illegally issued fire action notices.

The action came after the shopping mall fire from Russia that claimed the lives of 64 people.
