Interim Mayor of the Capital, Silvia Radu urges citizens to participate in the spring cleaning. On her social media page, the official requested citizens of Chisinau to clean the yards of their apartment buildings, so that the city will be clean and filled with life.

"On March 31 everyone is invited to participate in the Cleanup day. I wish for our city to shine.

Chisinau City Hall, along with multiple NGOs, will organize around the city, in each sector, multiple centers for meetups. Our employees will greet there citizens and offer gloves and bags necessary to clean parks and squares. I also request those who wish to clean the yards of their apartment blocks to notify us, for all collected waste to be taken out. All citizens will be assisted with transporting waste.
