The building works of Ungheni-Chisinau pipeline will take place simultaneously with the expropriation of the land.

This amendment has been complemented by the law on the declaration of public utility for works of national interest in the construction of the pipeline. The draft was voted in final reading in Parliament.

According to the document, the introduction of the special measure was necessary because many of the lands located outside the localities where the gas pipeline will pass have not been properly registered or their owners are not in the country.

The construction works of the Ungheni-Chisinau gas pipeline will start this summer. The construction will be carried out by the Transgaz Romanian company.
