The Moldovans spend almost the same amount of money that they earn. The previous year, their incomes increased by 9%, which is equal with 2 245 lei.

At the same time, the costs have also risen. These are six percent higher than the previous year. The National Statistics Bureau established that people from cities earn more than the ones from villages.

The basis incomes of the Moldovans are their salaries that coves over 43 percent of their costs. 23% are the money that come from allowances, social aids and pensions. The money that come from abroad are also an important income.

According to the statistics, 43% of the money are spent on alimentary products, 19% for the house and 10% for clothes and shoes, while for health, Moldovans invest 6%.
