Border guards from Giurgiulești caught a Moldovan attempting to illegally cross the Ukrainian border and return to Moldova. The incident took place on Sunday night, at 02:30.

The 43-year-old man, native of Colibași village, Cahul district, fully confessed during questionings. The suspect also declared that the act was committed because he does not posses a passport.

The man now risks to have a criminal record.
