Tourists will receive brochures, containing all cultural Easter events, upon arrival to Moldova
All tourists who will arrive to Moldova in the following two weeks will be urged, within a campaign, to visit our wineries and other attractions. Upon arrival, foreign tourists will receive a brochure containing all cultural events planned during the Easter holidays and discount coupons for wineries.
The first tourists claim that the brochures will become an additional way to gain information on tourist attractions.
"This is my 9th or 10th time visiting Moldova. I love the local wine and always feel welcomed", a tourist said.
"Unfortunately I believe that I will have to leave on the weekend. -What do you think of the local wines? -Moldovan wines taste amazing", another tourist said.
The act was organized by Bureau for Diaspora Relations, with the support of Moldova Competitiveness Project, financed by USAID and Swedish Government.
"Everything that people might associate with Republic of Moldova is important. The country must be promoted abroad and we believe diaspora has an enormous potential in promoting the country" BRD chief, Olga Coptu declared.
"Local brands and wines, as well as connected industries, have the possibility to improve Republic of Moldova's image, therefore attracting more tourists" deputy director of Moldova Competitiveness Project, Diana Lazăr explained.
This action is part of the "Be our guest" campaign.
