Andi Cristea: We are interested in Moldovan elections to be fair
The National Actions plan and the EU support for our country are the main subjects discussed within the session of the Parliamentary Association Committee EU-Republic of Moldova.
"We try to reply the majority of the MEPs questions, thus, the European quorums will make the right decisions for the Republic of Moldova", said Eugen Carpov, the leader of the Parliamentary Group.
Referring to the next elections from Republic of Moldova, Andi Cristea said that the European Parliamentarians are interested for Moldovan election to be fair.
"We are interested in making Moldovan elections to be free and fair, inclusively for the Diaspora. Nothing makes me thing that this elections could differ in comparison with the ones from 2014 and here I am referring to the rightness. The alliances that will exist depend on the politicians' choices and preferences. Regardless of the elections results, we will cooperate with Republic of Moldova for future. The main principle of the cooperation between Moldova and EU is to strengthen the relationship between them. It doesn't mean that the Brussels leaders have always said what Moldovan leaders should do", said MEP, Andi Cristea.
"First of all, I think that we shouldn't be afraid of the responsibilities we have for the EU. Definitely, this is not an easy process, but it will modernize Republic of Moldova. We have already achieved great results, as the export and import increased", said Eugen Carpov, the leader of the Parliamentary Popular Group.
At the end of the 6th session of the Reunion, the Final Declarations and Recommendations of the Parliamentary Committee of European Association will be signed.
