Recreational facilities from Moldova are performing evacuation training. A fire was simulated in a Hypermarket from Capital, but people did not react to the alarm and continued shopping.

The exercise comes after the shopping mall fire from Kemerovo, which claimed the lives of dozens of people. 

After the center requested people to evacuate the building due to technical issues, few reacted. Moreover, some sellers had to persuade some costumers to leave. Others continued to walk carelessly among the shelves, despite the siren blaring.  

Such exercises will take place in over one thousand facilities from Capital. According to data offered by General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, to this point 30% of the centers were already inspected.

The tests are performed at the request of PM Pavel Filip, who ordered the creation of groups for this purpose.
