US Congressman Will Hurd declare din an interview for Prime TV that United Stated of America is ready to support Republic of Moldova in the fight against the hybrid war led by Russia. Moreover, the US official urged Moldovan authorities to not give up.

"Moldova has allies in the West and in the USA who will help Moldova to face this challenge. The Russia won't stop until they will come back to the USSR borders. They even pay the people from the leading of the country to spread lies at the TV and in newspapers. They also say they changed this country by repairing the roads, but, in reality, these were repaired by Moldovan authorities and supported by the West. In a short time that I spent here, I understood that as close as you are to Russia, then less you believe in their lies", declared William Hurd, member of the US House of Representatives from Texas.

The American politician thinks that the USA has a lot of things to learn from our country regarding the fight against misinformation.

"I think that the United States has a lot to learn from Moldova. Moldova fights every day. You have Russian army on your territory. Moldova has to face it for many years. I am here to learn from Moldova what should the United States do when they become the subject of a hybrid war. The USA will help you by cooperating in many spheres", said William Hurd.

In the opinion of the Congressman, the future of Moldova is certainly with the West and Moldova can count of the US support.

Will Hurd had a meeting with Andrian Candu, the president of the Parliament and Vlad Plahotniuc, the leader of the ruling party.
