Authorities promise that during the holidays, people will not be forced to stand in lines at Customs. Chief of Border Guard and Deputy Director of Customs Service have paid a visit to Leuşeni Customs to inspect how traffic is managed.

People have not only easily crossed the border, but also received chocolate and items made by children from Cărpineni Boarding School, Hânceşti:

"Border Guard, along with children from Cărpineni Boarding School have decided to make a pleasant surprise to people. To welcome them back home."

"We came to visit our relatives, grandparents. We have traveled around 500 km and are tired. It is very pleasant to receive such gifts."

"Happy Easter everyone and thank you for the wonderful gifts. We are going to celebrate Easter with our parents."

During this period, most Moldovans return from abroad, but there are also some who decide to spend Easter in a different country:

"I am going to visit my son in Paris. We will celebrate Easter there. He could not come home, so we decided to go to him."

According to Border Guard, the number of travelers arriving to Moldova have tripled over the past few days.

"I assure you that Border Guards will mobilize to ensure comfort to all people. We will manage with the influx" Chief of Customs Service, Fredolin Lecari.

"We increased cooperation with Romania to ensure that no traffic congestion will be formed and people will not spend a long time waiting in line" Deputy Director of Customs Service, Grigore Ioniţoov explained.
