Between April 2 and 8, 2018, 341 358 people crossed the Moldovan border, of which a bigger number - 195 586 passes on the entrance to the Republic of Moldova. The busiest day of the previous week was Friday, with a flow of 62 170 people crossing. The budget indexed 448,1 million lei after checked 9 406 declarations.

What about the fight against frauds, during the next week there were 101 attempts of breaching the customs legislation. At the same time, there were registered 45 protocols and applied fines worth 185 572 lei.

Over the past week, at the "Green Border" and at border crossing points, border guards notified 82 events, which documented 102 people, who violated Moldova's border and migration legislation, as follows:
- 67 people have violated the border and border crossing regime;
- 24 foreign citizens have violated the regime of residence on the territory of the Republic of Moldova;
- five violations of the rules for the carriage of passengers and goods;
- six attempts of illegal goods trafficking.

There were 145 alerts, of which eight on Interpol, and 137 on information received from national law enforcement authorities.

Over the previous week, 45 foreign citizens, as well as 63 transport agents, received refusal of entry into the Republic of Moldova. Three Moldovan citizens were denied entry into the Russian Federation and two in the European Union. A citizen was deported from the EU.

The activity of finding and examining contraventions within the Border Police subdivisions presented the following statistical indices: 75 minutes, with the fines of 31 800 lei and 14 100 lei.

Border police officers had 21 meetings with representatives of the border authorities of Ukraine and Romania to exchange information and receive and surrender criminals.
