President of Moldovan Parliament, Andrian Candu will pay a visit to USA on April 11 - 19 2018.

The official will give a speech at the United Nations General Assembly meeting, on traffic safety and measures taken to reduce the number of causalities, as well as the importance of preventing measures, including through legislation, standards of road infrastructure and education. Those subjects were recently tackled during a session convoked by Andrian Candu with officials from the Government, foreign partners and civil society.

As an ambassador for road safety, appointed by Eastern Alliance for Safe and Sustanable Transport, as well as President of Parliament, Andrian Candu will participate in New York at the Global Parliamentary Conference of the World Bank's Parliamentary Network and the International Monetary Fund. At the reunion, officials from all over the world will establish the agenda for this year.

President of Moldovan Parliament will also meet with Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, Amina J. Mohammed and Honorary Consuls of the Republic of Moldova at New York, Mark Meyer.

In Washington, the official will attend meetings at United States Congress, USAID, IMF, World Bank, United States Department of the Treasury and United States Department of State.
