A man from Ceadar-Lunga started to be investigated, after he attempt to briber a policeman. He promised the policeman 1 000 lei for giving him back the car he was driving while being drunk.

The policeman announced CNA and the anti corruption prosecutors detained him for 72 hours.

The man was detained at the Intern Protection and Anticorruption Service of MAI.

If found guilty, the man risks up to six years in prison and a fine of up to 4 000 conventional units.
