Republic of Moldova and Republic of Belarus to strengthen cooperation in all areas
Ministers of Foreign Affairs Tudor Ulianovschi and Vladimir Makei, who met today in Chisinau, stated that cooperation relations between Moldova and Belarus are constantly strengthening, allowing both countries to launch new strategic partnerships in all areas of bilateral cooperation.
Here, Minister Tudor Ulianovschi highlighted that efficient political and social-economic dialogue between Republic of Moldova and Republic of Belarus allows the development of some bilateral, as well as regional and international partnerships.
The Moldovan official believes a great example to be the visit of Alexander Lukashenko, President of Belarus, to the Republic of Moldova, where a set of bilateral agreements in various fields, including health and justice, will be signed.
Minister Ulianovschi appreciated the efficient cooperation between the two countries within various international bodies, including the Eastern Partnership and Central European Initiative, whose multilateral aspect offers sufficient space for applying the principle of inclusion and differentiation.
"We believe that last year, the presidency of Belarus at the Central European Initiative was successful and has also contributed to the institution's consolidation and identification of new cooperation areas. We greet the usage of macro-regional cooperation potential" Minister Ulianovschi said.
Efficient development of Moldova-Belarus relations were appreciated by Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei, who mentioned that his country is interested in extending the bilateral cooperation in all fields, launch new projects with the participation of economic agents from both countries in all areas.
"We are interested in extending bilateral relations with the Republic of Moldova, developing the constructive dialogue will bring much benefit to both countries" Minister Vladimir Makei said.
Within the meeting were mentioned the necessity of maintaining the high dynamics of Moldova-Belarus cooperation. Here, it was agreed upon the organization of rounds of inter-ministerial consultations at the level of state secretaries by the end of 2018.
