The state has offered farmers subventions worth close to 15 million lei since February 1 and to this moment. Agency for Interventions and Payments in Agriculture (AIPA) received over 400 requests, half of them having received authorization.

For this year were foreseen subventions to 900 million lei, by 120 million lei more than last year.

By the end of the year, the Government will approve a law offering subventions in advance to young farmers and farmers who wish to launch a business in agriculture.

Over 2017, around 1 500 requests were accepted.
