Republic of Moldova and Turkey interested to develop bilateral relationship
The relationship between the Republic of Moldova and Turkey are developing in political, economic, social and cultural sphere. The statement was concluded by the ministers of foreign affairs of the both countries, Tudor Ulianovschi and Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu within their meeting in the New York City, where they participated at the General Meeting of ONU.
Tudor Ulianovschi and Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu discussed about the good cooperation relationship between the countries and mentioned the common interest for the developing the countries in many spheres.
The two ministers mentioned that the ministers meetings made an important step for the future cooperation.
The ministers showed their intention to extend their relationship. In this context, the officials named a vast range of planed event for 2018 and highlighted the official visit of the Turkey president in the Republic of Moldova, Tayyip Erdoğan, where they want to sign the declaration regarding a strategic partnership between the Republic of Moldova and Turkey.
The officials reconfirmed the peer interest for the development of the commercial and economic relationship, based on the benefits offered by the Free Trade Agreement between the countries, that entered into force on November 1, 2016.
The ministers think that this document offers the possibility to develop the affairs in the both countries.
Tudor Ulianovschi thanked the Ankara Government for their financial support.
The ministers also reiterated their opinions regarding the international and national security.
