Chiril Gaburici: I want to keep the mothers home. We need their dedication and contribution
100 businesswomen from the Republic of Moldova will benefit of grant investments among the governmental program "Women in business", that is managed by the Organization for the Development of the Small and Medium companies. The businesswomen will access these grants worth 14 million lei, which will stimulate investments worth 24 million lei in the national economy. The 100 winners were approved today, by the surveillance committee of the program.
The economy minister, Chiril Gaburici was present at the session and reiterated his support for the entrepreneurs.
"Today, I am glad that 100 families will keep their mothers home. We need their dedication and contribution. I want to make you sure that we will continue to support the women entrepreneurs", said Petru Gurugurov, the interim of ODIMM.
A third of the investment projects were made in the investment service - accountancy, education, human resources, justice, statistics and so on, while 28% in the production. Also, 27% of the entrepreneurs plan to invest in the textile industry and 13% in agriculture and zoo technology. The majority of the beneficiaries of the program evolve affairs on the whole territory of the Republic of Moldova, among which, Chișinău, Sîngerei, Hîncești, Soroca, Găgăuzia, Orhei and Cimișlia.
Within the I Component of the "Support the affairs initiation" program, evolved in 2017, there were organized 15 entrepreneurship courses. Thus, over 400 women were guided and trained during six days by the experts in the business sphere.
Now, the second Component of the "Support for the new affairs" program, where the companies registered from 0 to 24 months can apply. Other two appeals of the contest won't exceed the 165 000 lei sum.
In the autumn of 2016, the Government of the Republic of Moldova launched a program named "Women in business", that was managed by ODIMM. The implementation period of the program is three years. Thus, 51,5 million lei will be allocated from the state budget. This initiative targets to promote the economic and social abilities in the rural zones by providing the gender equality.
