Moldova is one of the top countries targeted by the Russian press. According to a study realized recently by the Crisis Media Center from Ukraine, 87% of the information regarding Moldova, that is broadcast by the Russian TV channels is negative.

Our country ranks eight with Sweden and Croatia, while Romania ranks second. The negative information about our neighbor country are 93% of the total number of the news.

The first place was taken by Ireland. Switzerland and Belarus have a better image.

Ukraine was excluded from the rank. The survey also shows that the majority of the information regarding Europe is about accidents and scandals.

The survey was realized between July 2014 and December 2017, after the Crimea was taken by Russia. The number of the negative news about Europea raised by 87%.
