In March were transferred 110 million USD to Moldova from abroad

Money transfers continues to increase. Over March, in Republic of Moldova reached 110 million USD. Data of NBM shows that those numbers are by 12% bigger than in a similar period from 2017.
In March, most money were sent to Moldova from EU member states, or 38%. At the same time, nearly by 10% less came from CIS countries, where the biggest percentage is held by Russia. From Russia were transferred 28.4% of those 110 million USD, namely 31 million USD.
From EU member states, most money were transferred from Italy, nearly 13 million USD. From Germany were transferred 6.4 million USD, while from Great Britain by nearly one million less. Followed by France, Spain and Romania.
NBM data also shows that in March most money were transferred in USD, over 46%. In Euro were transferred 45% of the money, while in Ruble around 8%. Compared to 2017, the number of transfers in USD and Rubles decreased, while in Euro increased.
