Buses donated by Bucharest City Hall arrived in Chisinau
The two buses donated by Bucharest City Hall arrived in Chisinau and soon, those will be usable. Even if those are not in a very good condition, the vehicles of Mercedes model have AC and a system for the persons with disabilities.
Veaceslav Pasat has been working for nine years at the Urban Buses Park. He is glad he will drive a modern vehicle.
"The motors are stronger. It is important that the capacity of the motor is strong", said Veaceslav Pasat, driver.
Serghei Ostafi, the driver of the second bus says that the work will be more pleasant now.
"The difference is very big", said Serghei Ostafi.
According to the interim of the Transport direction, the buses have already passed the technical revision.
"The buses are of the 3rd ecology category. We are glad that Romania respected what they promised", declared Vitalie Butucel, the interim of the General Direction of Public Transport and Communication.
The buses have a capacity of one hundred seats.
"The buses are very good and comfortable and also have AC. The seats are very comfortable."
The vehicles were donated by Bucharest City Hall, after Silvia Radu, the former interim and Gabriela Firea, the Bucharest mayor signed a cooperation agreement between the two cities.
