A 22-year-old young man from Rublenița village, Soroca district, has established his own enterprise. The young businessman owns a cattle farm, having at the moment 120 animals.

"Florica can give me around 30 liters of mild per day. She is among the first I bought, along with Veronica. I named each cow. They say that the quality of milk fully depends on the food, so we offer them only the best" entrepreneur Andrian Dumitraș said.

It all begun in 2014, when Andrian Dumitraș decided to pursuit his passion. At first, the young man had only 5 cows, but hard work and perseverance paid off.

The young farmer chose to raise Holstein cattle, as they are considered to be more resistant to diseases and to give more milk. Daily, the cattle offers around 500 litres, the milk then being transported to the biggest company from Moldova. To ensure the quality of his produce, the young man also established a laboratory at the farm.

"We can analyze the milk here, to ensure that there are no antibiotics and to check the fat percentage. We are not paid per litre, but depending on the fat" Andrian Dumitraș explained.

The father of Andrian Dumitraș is an agriculturalist. The man ensures that the animals eat quality food, cultivated by the family themselves.

"If the cattle is offered good food, then even the cows from Moldova can produce milk of high quality" Iurie Dumitraș explained.

The young farmer also created a few jobs for the villagers.

"The cattle must be taken care of, to ensure quality milk. Everything must be clean and dry to avoid them getting ill" employee Aliona Iurevici said.

Andrian build the farm on the land of a former enterprise. He soon hopes to extend his business.

"I wish in the future to export calf to Arab states, as pork is forbidden there and calf is popular" Andrian Dumitraș declared.

The entrepreneur sells one kg of calf for 28 lei, while a litre of milk for 6 lei. Since the business was established, the young man received two grants worth 50 000 lei.
