Six persons were transported to the hospital after an accident occurred last night in Chisinau. A 21 year old driver hit a taxi, because of the excessive speed.

Everything happened at the intersection between Alecu Russo and Nicolae Dimo from Rascani sector. The firemen came at the place of the accident. One of the taxi drivers escaped, while the other was a little bit injured. He refused to offer any details.

An eyewitness told that he has heard a strong hit and helped the passengers of the taxi.

"I have heard the accident and I helped the passengers of the accident to come out of the car", said the eyewitness.

The victims of the accidents were transported at the Emergency Hospital from the Capital.

"Six people aged between 20 and 37 years, two among which were in grave condition were transported to the hospital. A man suffered a comatose, while the other suffered a contusion", declared Cristina Gorea, the spokesman of IMU.

The police investigates the circumstances of the accident.

The guilty driver will be punished according to the law enforcement.
