Igor Tudorache's teacher, the director of the Republican hospital, Anatol Ciubotaru says that Igor always wanted to make organs transplantation.
"I know him very well, as he was my son's colleague. He was very diligent", said Anatol Ciubotaru, the director of the Republican hospital.
After he graduated, the young specialist made an internship in Romania. Thus, for more than 15 years, he works in an university hospital from Germany and is the here of a documentary.
"The transplantation program in Germany is more developed one. They have two opponents, from the USA and Hannover. They make 130-140 surgeries per year", said Anatol Ciubotaru, the director of the Republican hospital.
In Romania, the Moldovan made two lungs transplantation.
"The possibility to make a lung transplantation for the Romanian doctors are really small. Each country protects their patients who are on the waiting list. The country who develops this sphere is a very lucky one", said Victor Zota, coordinator of the National Transport Agency.
The Romanian specialists say that the surgery is one of the most complicated and expensive. It costs 80 000 euros and it takes six hours to do it.
