A terrible crime took place in Mereni village, Anenii Noi district. A 57 years old man was violently beaten and then, strangled with a towel. Everything happened last night in the victim's house.

The victim was living with her daughter and nephew. The daughter said that the suspect came last night with a bottle of wine.

"When I called marina, I asked her what is she doing. She said that her mother is drinking with Oleg and that they started to argue", said Maia Scobioala, the victim's daughter.

During this period, victim's nephew aged of 8 was playing in the yard. When she entered in the house she saw her naked grandmother and the aggressor next to her.

"Oleg said that my mother has cold hands", said Maia Scobioala.

The girl went to the neighbors who called the police.

"She came in tears and asked for help."

The policemen initiated a penal case for murder.

"The man recognized his guilt and was detained for 72 hours", said Silvia Vetcu, press officer of IP Anenii Noi.

The 35 years old man risks up to 15 years in prison.
