The experience gained by the Republic of Moldova in implementing the projects in migration and developing the Republic of Moldova- EU were presented within the EU-RM partnership by Daniela Morari, the MAEIE state secretary within the Global Quorum for Remittances, Investments and Developing that will take place between May 8 and 10 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The discussions took that will take place between May 8 and 10 in Kuala Lumpur will contribute to finish the negotiations process of the Global Compact for Migration and fulfilling the Development Targets of 2030 Agenda.

Within the first session of GFRID, "Financial services in global economy", the state secretary, Daniela Morari is one of the main speakers who talked about the experience of Republic of Moldova to implement the projects and initiatives in the migration and development of RM-EU Partnership.

In this sense, the Moldovan official mentioned:

"Collecting the information regarding the migration and remittances, the comprehensive analyze of this process in adjusting the politics, concrete initiatives to reduce the costs of migration and explore the new opportunities of access to the financial tools for migrations."

The participation to the Quorum is a good platform for opinion exchange and good practices and lessons implemented in order to minimalize migration's impact on the development of the country.
