Vlad Plahotniuc, the President of the Democratic Party held a meeting with Victor Bostinaru, MEP and the deputy president of the Parliamentary group S&D.

Within the meeting, the PDM leader presented the MEP the Government's achievements supported by PDM and showed his desire too cooperate on the European path", declared the president of the PDM. 

At the same time, Vlad Plahotniuc discussed about the parliamentary elections that will occur this autumn and the party's desire to make those transparent and correct.

"We decided to ask the Parliament to create a group that will monitor the elections and will provide those transparency", said the President of the Democratic Party from Moldova.

At his turn, Victor Bostinaru highlighted the economic progress of the Republic of Moldova registered in the past two years. At the same time, the deputy president of the Parliamentary group S&D appreciated the willingness of the Governance to maintain the European path and to fulfill all the responsibilities regarding to it.

"I am glad that after these years of crisis and instability, the Republic of Moldova had a good Governance and the Democratic Party makes everything possible to launch the dialogue with the European Union and raise the credibility for the European partners", declared Victor Bostinaru.

Also, the MEP talked about the cooperation of the parliamentary group of the socialists and democrats within the European Parliament and the Democratic Parliament.

Within the meeting, there were discussed two other subjects of interest, as the Capital mayor elections and the desire of the Democratic Party to support a certain candidate for the right wing parties, but also the evolution of the Republic of Moldova in the transnistrean case.

The PDM president was surrounded by Marian Lupu, the deputy president of the party and Lara Moraru, the chief of the Department of foreign affairs within the Democratic party.
