Buried heroes from Romanian cemetery commemorated on May 9
On May 9, there were commemorated the buried heroes from the Heroes cemetery of the Capital. As the tradition is, the priests officiated a service to commemorate the heroes of the Second World War. The soldiers were commemorated by the members of ODIP and the unionist parties, who were upset by the cemetery's condition.

Almost 40 members of ODIP took a moment of silence for the heroes who died in the Second World War.
"It is a day when we should keep a moment of silence for the heroes of the Second World War who defended our country", said Vlad Biletchi, the president of ODIP
Some of the soldiers can hardly remember the days when the dead soldiers were buried and in the 90s there only cross from the cemetery was set on fire.
According to the official information, in the Romanian Cemetery of Heroes there were buried 3 000 soldiers whose identity was established later.
