The two buses gifted by Bucharest are running in Chisinau. People are happy with the new vehicles
The two buses donated by Bucharest City Hall have been running on the streets of Chisinau for a week now. The vehicles are running on route No. 5 tying Ciocana and Botanica.
People are pleased and claim that the buses are very comfortable and useful for the Capital.
"I entered the bus and was amazed by the new design. I heard on the TV that two new buses will be brought and put on route No. 5 and I am happy."
"This is the first day I boarded such a bus. It is clean and pleasant."
"It feels newer, more beautiful, comfortable and free."
Sergiu Căstășan works at the park garage for the past 22 years. The man claims that over the years he drove many vehicles, but those ones are more comfortable, not only for the driver, but for the passengers as well.
"Those are better than the ones we have. They are lower so people have an easier time boarding and getting off" driver Sergiu Căstăşan said.
Interim director of the bus garage, Vitalie Copaci, claims that the gifted vehicles are more modern, having an AC and platform for disabled people.
"The buses were brought to Chisinau on April 27, after all paperwork was done, they were running on route No. 5 starting May 3" Vitalie Copaci said.
The buses were donated by authorities from Bucharest, after independent candidate, Silvia Radu, signed an agreement with Gabriela Firea.
