Sport Federations from Moldova are becoming more implicated in Chisinau Arena project. Some presidents of Sport Federations requested for all international standards to be respected when the complex will be build, while others cannot wait to see the arena open for the public.
"There has to be at least on stationary swimming pool. According to international standards it must also contain swimming pool heating. It is also important for a smaller pool for children to be built" president of Swimming Federation, Alexandru Goreacev said.
"Each year we will have the possibility to hold an international competition. I speak here of World and European Championships, for juniors, young people and even seniors. Perhaps even the Olympics. Such events can gather at least 2 000 people" president of Box Federation, Vasile Chirtoca said.
"I was told that disabled people will also be able to use the Arena, to train and hold different competitions" deputy president of the Paralympic Committee, Dumitru Prodan declared.
Discussions took place during a meeting at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Reaseach with representatives of all Sport Federations.

The competition to select a company that will build Chisinau Arena begun on May 7 and will last 60 days. Investments for the construction will take place within a public-private partnership.
Chisinau Arena will be built in Stăuceni commune. The complex will be able to hold to 5 000 guests and sport events, as well as expositions, concerts and conferences.
