145 drivers were caught speeding in a single day. Driver who breached the law were caught by Patrol Officers, with a radar gun. 

The campaign took place yesterday, May 10, on highway: Anenii Noi - Căușeni - Ștefan Vodă - borders with Ucraina and was meant to prevent car accidents.

According to NPI, 40% of the drivers were going 20 km/h above the speed limit. Another 30% have crossed the speed limit by 20-40 km/h, while 20% were driving more than 40 km/h over the speed limit.

The drivers received fines between 300 and 1 500 lei and 3 to 5 penalty points.
