Two men from Edinet were detained by Antidroh direction of INI and PCCOCS prosecutors, being suspected of smuggling with Subutex pills.

According to the police, the suspects aged of 33 organized an illegal transportation of drugs from France to Moldova.

At the same time, an undercover officer bought pills on a price of 1 000 lei.

On May 8, 2018, at Leuseni-Albita border the Chisinua-Franta bus was stopped and the police found 70 pills hidden in alimentary products. Then, when the parcel should have been taken, the officer caught the guilty.

The pills were worth 70 000 lei.

The suspects recognized the guilt.

If found guilty, they risk to be imprisoned between 7 and 15 years.

One of the defendants was punished for similar actions.
