Clothes, shoes, glasses and other items, worth over 200 000 lei, were discovered by Customs officers in a vehicle, pulled over for checking at the exit from Todirești village, Anenii Noi district.

In this case are documented two people from Căușeni district. The suspects purchased goods from Km 7 market, Odessa, Ukraine and would smuggle them into the country through Transnistria, avoiding Customs.

After searching, officers confiscated 2 051 clothes, 175 pair of shoes, 363 glasses, 240 faux leather belts, 29 toys for children, as well as 15 electronic cigarettes. Some of the items were brands, reason why the case will also be investigated for author's right.

The suspects risk from 3 to 10 years in prison.
