Dream Came True. Beneficiaries of First House Program continue to move into their new homes
The first beneficiaries of the First House Program continue to acquire their new homes. Among them counts the Dulgheru family, who already managed to move in.
Dulgheru family owns a two bedroom apartment, while Vlad Plahotniuc's "Edelweiss" foundation assisted them in arranging, by gifting home appliances and vouchers to purchase furniture.
"Since we received the loan, it took no more than two weeks to move in. Because we already had a surprise from Edelweiss, we had their support and it motivated us to gain our own home during Easter holidays" Ion Dulgher said.
Ion and Claudia have blessed their home on the same day they marked their 2nd anniversary.
"As long as you are renting a house you have nothing to lose. While repaying the credit, the money are not lost" Claudia Dulgher said.
People who wish to purchase a home using the First House program can request a mortgage loan of no more than one million lei from five banks from Moldova. The projects has many benefits compared to a simply mortgage loan.
For example, the down payment is of only 10%, by 3 times less than in classic loans, while the period of time it needs to be repaid is bigger. First House program was launched at the initiative of PM Pavel Filip. Any person under 45 is eligible to apply, as long as they are officially employed and have no other mortgage loans.
