A New Life campaign of Edelweiss Foundation reached the maternity ward from Șoldănești

The A New Life campaign, of Vlad Plahotniuc's „Edelweiss” foundation has reached the maternity ward from Șoldănești town. The new mothers received gift boxes containing items necessary for newborns.
It is the way „Edelweiss” Foundation welcomes into this world infants.
Stela Efremov from Șoldănești became a mother for the first time. She gave birth to a healthy boy.
The woman was happy to receive the gifts from „Edelweiss” Foundation.
"It was a pleasant surprise, even if I already prepared all the necessities at home. Still, those items will be very useful. I have already seen diapers and know that all the items from the gift box will be used" beneficiary Stela Efremov said.
The maternity ward from Șoldănești was included in the A New Life campaign two months ago, when founder Vlad Plahotniuc announced that the project is extending.
"We came together with our team, to offer positive emotions and deliver the message of the Foundation's founder: Welcome into this world."
The medical staff, as well as local authorities greet the initiative of „Edelweiss” to unfold the campaign in maternity wards from the country.
"Even if the hospital is small and there are not many children born here, we are happy to have been included in this project. The gift box contains items that I know new mothers will greatly appreciate" doctor from Șoldănești Regional Hospital, Veaceslav Palii said.
"It is a very good initiative, in my opinion, for young mothers. I myself am a mother and have two children, but never had the chance to benefit from such a gift when my children were born" president of Șoldănești district, Svetlana Rotundu declared.
