Over the past few days, law enforcement have documented two corruption cases upon Patrol Officers.

A man attempted to bribe a patrol officers offering 5 000 Ruble for being caught drunk driving. The incident took place in Tomai settlement, Ceadâr – Lunga district.

The second case took place in Anenii-Noi, where a drunk driver offered an officer 1 000 lei, to not be released without being documented.

The drivers were caught red-handed. If found guilty, they risk to spend the next 6 years in prison and pay a fine from 100 000 to 200 000 lei.
