Local elections 2018: Democratic Party from Moldova won in majority of City Halls where elections took place
The Democratic Party from Moldova gained at the majority of the City Halls from the country, after the May 20 elections. The only exceptions there are Chisinau, Balti and Jora de Mijloc village, where the SOR Party has won.
In Leuseni, Nemteni, Volovita and Pirlita villages the Democratic Party candidates have won after the first round.
In Leuseni village, Hancesti district, only two candidates participated: Ion Dragan(PDM) and Ion Bujeac (Socialist party from Moldova). Dragan gained 602 votes, while the socialist representatives, only 61 votes.
In Nemteni village from the same district, the winner is Maria Ghitu, who has gained 441 votes and won against Timofei Sindila, who has gained 93 votes.
In Volovita village, Soroca district the mayor is Ghenadie Nitrean, PDM candidate who has gained 604 votes. Alexandr Cerches, the socialist party representative gained only 157 votes.
In Pirlita village, Ungheni district, PDM representative, Stanislav Babutac took 84,38% of the votes and won against Galina Andriuta, the PPDA candidate.
The winner of Balti is Nicolai Grigorisin, the Our Party candidate, while in Chisinau two candidates, Ion Ceban (PSRM) and Andrei Nastase (PPDA) passed in the second round that will take place on June 3, writes zdg.md.
