The persons infected of AIDS are commemorated today in the whole world. In Chisinau, today, is declared the International Day of the Lighted Candles.

On Zimbru stadium, the persons infected of HIV, public persons, sportsmen and the representatives of different institutions will play a match to prove how important it is to have a healthy lifestyle.

On the stadium there will be arranges a mobile hospital, where people can make a fast HIV test. According to the statistics, stating this year, 8 500 people infected of HIV were revealed.

In 2017, AIDS took the life of 239 Moldovans. The last year, there were registered 800 new cases. The average age of the infected is 39.
