Three attempts of illegally smuggling with cigarettes was revealed yesterday, due to the K9 of the Customs service. After the intervention, 36 100 cigarettes were found.

The first two cases were revealed at Cahul customs, where the dogs found 9 400 and 24 900 cigarettes of different marks, that contained the Republic of Moldova acquise stamp.

Also, due to the implication of the K9 dogs, the Customs service revealed the third tentative of smuggling. The case was reported at the Costeti customs. Here, the K9 found 1 800 cigarettes.

According to the procedure, the cigarettes were seized. The suspects risks fined up to 4 500 lei.
