The new Mayor of Chisinau will be able to take up the new position within 10 days. Chisinau Electoral Commission will sent today the results to the Central Court.

According to the law, magistrates will have 10 days to confirm or cancel the results of the local elections.

The new Mayor will occupy this position for one year.

Next summer, general local elections will be held, where Mayors will be selected for the next four years.
