Director of Lăstăraş kindergarten from Chisinau will be harshly sanctioned and then fired. The announcement was made within a City Hall meeting held on Monday by interim Mayor, Ruslan Codreanu, reported Moldova 1.

The official declared that the case will be given to the Prosecutors, who will inspect the institution's activity, while the Education department will monitor all the suspects.

Publika reminds that in May, City Hall announced that Kindergarten No. 199 became a family business, due to money, amounting to 14 million lei, being illegally collected for repair works, that were never performed.

"For years nobody took any actions. We promised to see the end of the Kindergarten No. 199 case. All measures will be taken to ensure quality in this institution. Transparency on all expenses will be offered, so that pupils will have better conditions" interim Mayor, Ruslan Codreanu declared.
