43 sheep passed away after being hit by lightning, while the shepherd was injured. The incident took place on Tuesday, in Copceac village from Găgăuzia.

The 22-year-old young man was with the herd on a hill located near the settlement. The storm caught them by surprise, so the victim hid under a tree.

The victim's leg was burned, while all the animals were killed. A few days before, in the same settlement, lightning claimed the life of a 5-year-old girl. The incident took place on Sunday, at 20:00 local time, while the victim was gathering fruits in the garden.
