After losing the mayoral election, socialist Ion Ceban is already thinking of the next elections from 2019.

Until then, the officials claims that he will continue being implicated in solving the issues of Chisinau as a counselor. Furthermore, Ceban announced that he will not be the spokesman of the Presidency. The declarations were made today during a press conference.

The official also declared for journalists that he has no intention to interfere with the new Mayor.

"I guarantee that socialists will not block any process in the City Hall. We will support all initiatives of the new Mayor, if they are good. I am also ready to always offer advice when he requires it" PSRM councilman said.
