Over 120 loan guarantees for mortgage loans were issued by Organization for Small and Medium Enterprises Sector Development (ODIMM), that is administrating the First House governmental program.

This week, within the project, the banks offered the 100th mortgage loan. Beneficiaries are a couple from Cahul, who managed to purchase a house in that city with the help of the state.

The First House program is meant for citizens under 45 years old, officially employed and that do not own other real estates or mortgage loans. Their salaries must be at least twice the monthly rate, while the state will guarantee 50% of the offered loan.

The house's price must not exceed one million lei, while the down payment is of 10%. At the same time, First House 2 program, meant for public servants, was recently announced.
