Moldova and Belarus will unfold joint projects and cooperate for further commercial-economic developemtn
Chiril Gaburici, Minister of Economy and Infrastructure greeted the results of the 19th Moldovan-Belarusian Intergovernmental Commission for commercial-economic cooperation, which took place today in Chisinau, co-led by Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus, Mihail Rusîi.
"Intensifying economic relations between Belarus and Moldova was recently caused by the Intergovernmental Commission and the Moldova-Belarus economic forum. It is a great result and will bring many benefits to both countries. We wish for investments, more cooperation contracts, experience exchange and more workplaces" Chiril Gaburici said.
Within the Moldovan-Belarusian Intergovernmental Commission were discussed unfolding projects and a number of new initiatives, on assembling buses, delivering medicine, processing of zootechnical products, creation of an integrated dairy complex in Republic of Moldova.
The works of the Moldovan-Belarusian Intergovernmental Commission were based on negotiations and talks regarding economic-commercial collaboration in various fields, especially road infrastructure, liberalization of transport, technical scientific, industrial, agroindustrial, health and pharmaceutical innovation as well as investment, expanding bilateral business cooperation and increasing trade.
Following the negotiations, representatives of the Commission signed a number of bilateral documents mutually advantageous. Therefore, Chiril Gaburici, who led Republic of Moldova's delegation and Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus, Mihail Rusîi signed the Protocol of the 19th Moldovan-Belarusian Intergovernmental Commission meeting, which foresees the consolidation of efforts made for bilateral cooperation in the near future. At the same time, the officials signed documents for the implementation of the bilateral Agreement on cooperation in the field of health, the bilateral Agreement on scientific and technical cooperation and the Agreement on intentions for cooperation between the Central Union of Consumers Cooperatives of the Republic of Moldova and the Republican Union of Consumers' Societies of the Republic of Belarus.
At the same time, within the commission, an agreement was made for the assembling of mini tractors, moto-blocks, cooperation in the field of medical and pharmaceutical assistance,as well as experience exchange in the field of using advanced technology for road contraction and Belarus's participation in project for road renovation and reconstruction works in Republic of Moldova.
Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus, Mihail Rusîi expressed his gratitude to Republic of Moldova for the efficient cooperation on multiple platforms, accentuating the wish of Belarus to implement initiated projects.
"It is pleasant to return to Moldova. I appreciate the cooperation in various projects, to create better work conditions. We signed today important Agreement. Therefore, we will use financial mechanisms to implement the latest technological innovations for common road construction projects, industry, agro-industrial equipment and construction materials. Belarus guarantees quality and to finance the road construction projects. A good cooperation example being the trolleybus assembly. We stake on new project in buses assembly. 400 million USD will be invested in those Moldova - Belarus projects" Mihail Rusîi mentioned.
Minister Chiril Gaburici accentuated that the results of this Commission will contribute to strengthening the partnership between the two countries, having big cooperation prospective and a significant development potential.
